I just thought I would write a little note to say sorry for not updating the blog so much, we are so busy here at YHB HQ which is fantastic, but the blog has suffered because of it.

Rest assured I will be blogging weekly if not more from now on and I am so excited to share our news, weddings etc with you all!

Thank you for everyone’s continued support and love for our vintage buses, it means a lot to us and we really appreciate it.

We are going to The Wedding Industry Awards…

So 2012 has been a massive year for us, we have won 3 awards for “Best Wedding Transport Company” and shortlisted for “Best Wedding Website”. We won the North of England Wedding Award, Wedding Industry Experts Award and most recently we won our region for best transport at The Wedding Industry Awards. This means we are now being put through for the national award for best wedding transport.

We are all so excited here at YHB HQ and it is great to be recognised, especially as we are not your “usual” wedding transport, like cars, limos or VWs.

I booked our tickets this week for our London trip to the awards ceremony at the stunning Bloomsbury Ballroom and we cannot wait to celebrate with everyone.

We don’t take the awards too seriously, we really do feel it is the taking part that counts and it is fun to be part of the process. We are up against some fantastic competition, like Dennisson Classic Cars who won last year, another family business like us. It would be the perfect end to a great year if we won and we wish everyone the best of luck!

We are all here in the wedding industry to work together to do an amazing job for our couples and we couldn’t think of a better way to join in the fun and celebrate all of the wedding industry talent.
